1. Oracle DBA
Years of Experience:4 to 8 years

Mandatory skills

· Core Oracle 10g DBA with min of 4 years of experience
· RAC experience is necessary (min 1 yr exp)
· All core Oracle DBA activities
· Performance Tuning
· RMAN backup

Good-to-have skills

Shell Scripting knowledge
Unix / Linux knowledge as an Oracle DBA

2. SQL Server DBA
Years of Experience:4 to 8 years

Mandatory skills

· Core SQL Server DBA
· SQL Server 2005 upgrade experience
· Performance Tuning
· Replication & High Availability experience is must
· Good Communication Skills

Good-to-have skills

· Clustering concepts
· Windows tools related to DBA

3. DB2 DBA
Years of Experience:3 to 5 years

Mandatory skills

· Core Mainframe DB2 DBA with min of 4 years of experience
· Performance Tuning
· Analysis and resolving the bind issues
· Manage backup and recovery
· RACF: Verify/Assist users with RACF setup
· Create & Verify JCL
· Ex. generate unloads using image copy
· Refresh data in the lower environments
· Product usage (QMF)
· Investigate DB2 abends (-904, -551, -902…) (DB2)
· Rebinds (-805, -818…) (DB2)
· Migration of DDL through all environments
· DB2 security

Good-to-have skills

· Space usage by application to include projections – trend analysis
· Audit and SOX Compliance - As required by security, Sox, Audit

4. Teradata DBA
Years of Experience:3 to 8 years

Mandatory Skills

· Core Teradata DBA
· Design solutions and drive direction with application areas
· Establish and maintain standards across Lines of Business (LOB’s)
· System administration: security, maintain disk utilization, user IDs, passwords and accounts
· Security administration: maintain user accounts, passwords, access rights
· Performance tuning and analysis, troubleshooting of queries; provide performance improvement recommendations.
· Backup and recovery of databases
· Planning and project management
· Create strategic and tactical plans
· Engineer and implement disaster recovery solutions
· Experience with Teradata tools and utilities PMon, Teradata Manager, Teradata Administrator, SQL Assistant, TSET, BTEQ, TPT
· Knowledge of the load tools – multiload/fastload/fastexport. Tpump or TPT

Good to have skills

· Unix/Linux knowledge preferred
