Application Development Analyst – ACS HBS
VACANCY AT: Bangalore (Honeywell Technology Solutions)
QUALIFICATION: BE/M.Tech (ECE / EEE / EIE / CS)
EXPERIENCE: 4 - 8 years
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

* Experience in OS: Windows, Languages: C++, VC++ with strong OOAD skills, SQL
Databases: SQL Server 2005, IDE: VS 2003 and COM-DCOM
* Knowledge of any existing Point Server, UDP, Access Control Systems, and EBI would be advantageous.
* The job mainly requires designing and implementing changes to BOTAC Point Server and BOTAC database.
* It will also involve partner communication to get a clearer understanding of requirements or EBI components.

* The candidate should have embedded software development using C/C++ on 8, 16 & 32-bit processor platforms with & without RTOS
* Should have experience of using Windows and Linux based development environments.
* Should have BSP, driver/firmware development expertise.
* Should have wireless or wired protocol stack design and development.
* Knowledge of TCP/IP stack & socket communication
* Good understanding of popular wireless communication protocols (802.11, ZigBee, 802.15.4, WiMax, etc), RF domain, frequency bands, licensing requirements and certification requirements will be an added advantage
* He/she should have involved in at least two life-cycle software/product designs
* Should have end to end product design life cycle experience in preferably Automation & Control domain

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

* The candidate should have worked at least two full lifecycle on RF product development
* Should have experience of using RF circuit and antenna simulation tools – ADS, Microwave office, HFSS, etc
* The candidate should have knowledge of designing chipset based and discrete radios – power amplifiers, LNAs, filters, etc
* He/She should have experience in developing standard based radios - Wi-Fi (802.11), ZigBee (802.15.4), WiMAX, UWB, etc
* Knowledge of RF regulatory requirements FCC, CE, etc
* Experience in EMI/EMC compliant circuit designs
* Experience in design intrinsically safe circuits would be an advantages
* Knowledge of certification requirements and process
* Should have good knowledge of DFM, DFT and awareness of manufacturing processes.
* Experience of developing 8/16/32 bit micro controller, microprocessor or DSP based designs will be added advantage
* Should have handled all phases like planning, requirements, design, implementation, and testing and product certification.

· Proven track record of innovation via patentable ideas or products.

· Experience with Security / Video domain in Building Management domain is an added advantage.
